3 come to know Him

A week or two ago we had a girl on project came to know the Lord! How exciting it is to see God open hearts! Last night another one of the girls on our project came to know the Lord as well. We have been praying for her for several months and knew she wasn't a believer. Our staff team as well as our servant team at Morehead State have been so diligent in lifting her up in prayer. We know she is going to be a evangelism machine because she was sharing her faith and memorizing the gospel and scripture way before she was a believer. It is priceless to see how faithful the Lord is and at the same time learn how patient He makes us. His timing is perfect.

An update: Cameron found a job working at a really nice and quaint Italian ice warehouse. They found so much favor with him that He now works at the store in during the morning sometimes. He is thankful for your prayers.

Here is a cool story. Ryan, (an intern from University of Tennennse and my bed mate) and I were getting ready to plan for our bible study on Tuesday this past weekend. We were sitting by the pool with our bibles and binders in hand getting ready to plan when Alex, a high school student from a city name Surfside, approached us and started talking.

We got into some spiritual conversation as we talked about relationships. I got to share my testimony with him and Ryan was asking amazing questions that had to have been lead by the Holy Spirit. Alex was open to talking about relationships so I began to show him a diagram about communication and guarding hearts in a relationship. The idea behind the diagram is based upon Proverbs 4:23. Through the presentation of the diagram Alex really opened up! We ran out of time because he had to go back to his mother but we gave him our an e-mail address to reach us at as well as a phone number and a KGP (a booklet explaining the gospel.)

Later that night Alex called us back and wanted to hang out and talk about a little booklet that we had given him earlier that day. Cameron and Ryan went to go and follow up with him. He was blown away by the truth in John 17:3. 'I always thought eternal life began after I died,' he said. It was neat that he recognized that on his own. Cameron and Ryan lead Alex to Jesus last Tuesday! Thank you Jesus for being the one that ultimately draws us closer to you.

  • Pray for continued recovery of Alex's dad surgery
  • Pray that Alex finds some where to plug in and grow
  • Pray for one of my disciples as they are still looking for job along with 5 other students
  • Thank the Lord for another one of our students and Alex coming to know Jesus
